Community Guidelines

Keep PetApp useful, kind and focused on pets. These rules apply to profiles, text, images, videos, comments, messages, Activities, listings and edits.
Respect people and animals
Do not harass, bully, threaten or target someone with hateful abuse. Do not publish private contact details, precise private locations or other identifying information without permission. Respect blocks and do not use another account or business to evade them.
Animal cruelty, exploitation, encouragement of animal harm and deliberately dangerous pet-care instructions are prohibited. Educational, veterinary, rescue and recovery discussions must be presented responsibly, without gratuitous graphic material.
Content we prohibit
Do not post pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, credible threats, illegal goods or services, scams, impersonation or spam.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation are strictly prohibited. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sextortion, trafficking and any attempt to facilitate or normalize such abuse. These prohibitions also apply to links and content shared privately.
Reporting and decisions
Use Report in a content or account menu. Messages have an options button with reporting actions. Describe the concern using the available reasons and optional details. Report the account if the original content is no longer accessible.
PetApp reviews reported concerns and may hide or remove content or restrict accounts. Report counts alone do not establish a violation. Do not submit deliberately false or coordinated abusive reports.
To ask for a review of a decision, email support@petapp.ca with the content or case reference and a short explanation. Do not forward illegal images or videos.
